As an Artist, I will label all of my Albums
#ambient,#pop,#electroIn order to be found more easily by people clicking on the first tag they see.
Just like there’s the monthly Staff Playlist, could we do a formal or informal survey on what genre tags to feature on the main page and in the search bar?
There could be some small rules there having to be X many albums using the tag, or it could be the tags on the albums of the staff playlist. Something to keep it fresh?
I know that for many people the distinction between house and experimental is very wide, but for other populations they sound the same. It would be nice to have some random tags OR community-selected there for better exploration.
it’s also ridiculously easy to change the default tags - it’s just editing this file
